
School Advisory Committee (SAC)
This committee advises the principal and the parents on many areas of the school’s operation. Committee members serve two-year terms and meetings are held on Wednesdays four times per year. Dates of meetings are published in the Friday Focus, the electronic parent newsletter and in the military newspaper, the Panorama. Representatives from the Naval Exchange, School Cafeteria, School Bus Transportation Office also attend these meetings.
Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSA)
This organization of parents, teachers, and students who work together to enrich and support middle and high school activities and programs. The PTSA is affiliated with the National PTA. Initiatives include a substantial scholarship program for graduating seniors. Look for announcements in our Friday Focus and the Panorama.
Booster Club
The Booster Club is an additional organization of parents, teachers, and students who work together to enrich and support middle and high school extra-curricular activities and athletics. Look for Booster Club announcements in our Friday Focus and the Panorama.
Band Parent Booster Group
- Provides housing for visiting students
- Engages in fund raising activities to support music programs
NJROTC Parent Booster Group
A supportive group of parents who support all facets of the NJROTC program.
Partnerships and Volunteers
US Naval Hospital:
- The hospital staffs the Teen Health Center on Thursdays each week at the high school and the dental van located behind the schools.
- Additionally, it provides sports physicals, mouth guards, guest speakers, medical supplies, and coverage at contact sports events.
- The Hospital has adopted our NJROTC unit and provides drill competition judges and mentors
- The hospital has provides some supplies and equipment that are no longer usable at the hospital (towels, scrubs, furniture).
Sixth Fleet and Joint Forces Command Bands
- Provide technical assistance to our music teachers at large-scale concerts
- Provide skilled musicians to work with students to enhance music skills
- Provide excess or no longer needed musical equipment to our music program.
ASCOMED provides airlift support for NJROTC students to attend Boot Camps and Drill Team Competitions at other bases in Europe.
Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples supports the school in a variety of areas:
- Supports the NJROTC unit with a Cadet Chief Petty Officer Course
- Supports the drill team competition by providing mentors and judges.
- Provides guest speakers from the Fleet and Family Support Center, Navy Federal Credit Union,
- Provide semi-annual inspections: Bio-environmental, Physical Security, Safety, Disaster Preparedness, Fire(weekly/monthly) and Non-Combatant evacuation procedures.
- MWR provides services (chairs, tables), guest presentations, posters, Teen Center programs, youth activities for middle school and high school students, use of Carney Park for end-of-year activities, as well as for cross country and soccer competitions.
- MWR provides extra weight lifting and cardio-vascular training machines.
- Free and Reduced Price Lunch program, supervised by school liaison officer
- Security provides sniffer dog services and many volunteer coaches for athletics
- Public Affairs Office (PAO) provides pride of place coverage in the Panorama for academic and athletic activities at our school. Principal has a bi-weekly column in the Panorama.
DECA (Commissary):
- Provides water and Gatorade for athletic programs
- Provides some food items to the Booster Club at less than retail cost.
NCTAMS
- Provides volunteer coaches for athletics rogram.
Naval Exchange (NEX)
- A-OK Bond-Scholar program
- Cafeteria services
- Provides opportunities for lodging management and culinary arts students to fulfill the required hours to earn certification.
Navy League of Naples provides
- Financial support for NJROTC trophies and student participation at summer camps
- An Aviation Summer Camp for students to earn their private pilot licenses.
- Donates films to the NJROTC program
Naples Overseas Spouses Club (NOSC)
- Provides scholarships to graduating seniors
- Provides summer camp scholarships
- Funds approximately half of our student planners
- Funds for student programs
Air Force Element
- Provides opportunities for NJROTC teams to demonstrate skills and leadership at command functions.

Naples Community Theater
Chief Petty officers Association and First Class Association provides
- Volunteer coaches
- Painting of wildcat logo on stadium and parking lot
- Some financial assistance to athletic and academic programs

- Provides minor construction and painting services
